Biodextris is a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) serving the biologics and vaccines industries. We provide end-to-end services — including analytical development, process development, QC testing and GMP biomanufacturing — with the agility and expertise needed to bring life-changing therapies to patients worldwide.
About the Role
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Technician will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the company’s financial operations. You will be responsible for the full accounts payable cycle, vendor relations, reconciliations, and supporting month-end and audit processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing and approvals;
- Reconcile vendor statements and act as the primary point of contact for suppliers;
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner;
- Monitor and control operating expenses, including approval validation, proper coding, and expense report analysis;
- Prepare and execute biweekly payment runs (EFT and bank transfers);
- Reconcile and follow up on company credit card transactions;
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations;
- Issue customer invoices on a weekly and monthly basis;
- Participate in month-end close activities, including accruals and accounts payable reconciliations;
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures;
- Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation and explanations.

Qalifications
- DEC/AEC or DEP in Accounting, Administration, or a related field;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, payment processing, or a similar role;
- Bilingual (French and English, both written and spoken);
- Knowledge of Canadian tax regulations, including GST/QST;
- Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
- Experience with QuickBooks is considered an asset;
- Strong initiative, leadership skills, and attention to detail.
